Default Are you looking for a woodworking camera?

    Try this ..

Sigma Germany has announced a wood-veneered version of its SD1 high-end DSLR. The 'Wood Edition' emphasizes the camera's premium appeal by adding a casing made from Amboyna Burl, an expensive and decorative veneer taken from complex growths on a Southeast Asian tree. The case takes around 60 hours to cut, mill and polish.

Nah .. BB ... Mel would insist that a Real Woodworker did not need special tools and that he could carve it with a penknife.

Welcome my friend!!! Great to have you here!

    Derek,

Na, nothing that sharp. A cake knife perhaps as it could be considered multi-purpose.

    Hmm

not sure I'd like my camera clad in timber

Yes it looks great but at the end of the day it doesn't say "I'm serious about photography"
    IMHO it's bling

But on the other hand (or wrist) those watches look interesting - pure bling

I'd be proud as punch to have a wooden camera unlike Nick.

Oh you mean like the plastic one you have well I'd still prefer wood, or the 7D is was allowed to handle Tuesday a nice weight that was.
