Lost my Immaculate 18mm 24x12 ply supplier DO I need structural ply for platform bed?
I was getting Immaculate BC (onion skin) 18 x 2440 x 1220 plywood as recent as February for $55 a panel.
I was very happy with the product.
But the supplier no longer stocks this ply.
Gutted!
Now having to look around for another supplier but devastated with the prices.
Can I get by with non-structural ply to build a platform bed base?
Or do I need structural ply?
Could I get away with this?
lightweight-interior-plywood
Spoke to this lightweight interior plywood guy.
He wouldn't use it for furniture for supporting weight.
It's made for lightweight to reduce fuel consumption.
And they make cabinetry out of it.
But not booths nor bed bases without proper 2x4 supports. Thanks,
