    Default That new machine feeling

    It's here!

Happy days. I haven't had much of a chance to put it through it's paces, just a couple test cuts.
It's a totally different league to my old one. I'm gonna have a lot of fun making things with this.

Nice. Congrats. Have you checked it all and set it all up yet? Tables flat and coplanar etc? Can I ask what one of these retails for at the moment?

    Cheers, Dom

Congrats on the purchase. Does it have the silent power hammer helical head? Great machine!

I didn’t have to set it up. Ralf from Felder took care of that, and when he explained to me how he’s tuned it, it was exactly how I wanted it done. All I had to do was dial in the fence. I just finished a session where I took rough sawn Blackwood, jointed a face and edge, resawed to half thickness on the bandsaw, and prepared for panel glue up (I’ll thickness the glued up panels tomorrow). It performed like a champ. Perfect accuracy, all square, no snipe. Happy days!

If you haven't got one buy the in handle height/thickness gauge, trust me you won't regret it.
