    Default Masking tape

    For years I have been battling with older yet perfectly good masking tape rolls, that tear off all the time because the sides have dried up. I end up throwing them in the bin.
    Yet today I tried something that worked like a charm.
    I soaked a rag in lacker thinner and cleaned the sides of the roll with it. Result? no more tear off, it's as good as new.

    Default masking tape

    Bugger - I just ditched two almost full rolls away yesterday while doing a small paint repair on the car. The dog still won't come into the workshop after all the swearing and cursing from trying to unroll a bit of tape without it breaking. Great idea
    I like cats but I couldn't eat a whole one :
