that thread was about sub-dividing an angle into three equal angles -- not possible with a compass and straight edge.

Sorry fellas, should have mentioned it was to divide a length into equal parts.
Easily done with a pair of compasses ( Pedantic me!! )a straight edge and a set square.
Know good way to get an accurate right angle?

Right angle using a sheet of (A4) paper?
I often use a sheet of paper on-screen to check right angles.
