Default Natural Edge Bench Seat - She Oak

I was given a piece of Natural Edge She oak which had been burnt in a fire at some stage and was burnt on the edges.

Decided to turn it into a bench seat and came up with the following. I think it turned out alright, now just need to find a suitable place to put it!

I am open to ideas on how I could have done it better.

In all the circumstances, I think you did it justice.

I imagine it would have been hard? I have some blackwood here that got exposed to some serious heat during bushfires and it removes the edge off tools very quickly.

That looks like a good use for a difficultly shaped piece of timber. I like the finish too - lovely rich, deep colour.
