    Well I thought I would introduce myself since I am the newbi. I have been woodworking for the past five years as part of 4-H. My first year I build a simple bird house. Then my second year I build a replica of my mom's piano bench for her piano. Then my third year I bulid a coffee table with 4 droors in the front. Then last year I build a desk with to side dowers so I could replace my old desk. Then this year I am in the process of building a Curio Cabinet or Display Cabinet. I will get pictures of these projects sometime.

    Welcome aboard. Didn't know 4-H hand a woodworking program. 4H is kinda like the boy scouts but for everyone, I think.

    Welcome. I think the 4H is similar to the Junior Farmers that used to exist here. Don't know if it still does.

    I think you hit the nail on the head about what 4-H is. I have read through the forums before becoming a member and I though I would wnjoy it here. I hope you all can hold your end of the bargin.
