newbie joining question
hey guys, love the forum and looking at all the projects and the advice i see, i'm very new to woodwork, all my construction expertise comes from metalworking so this is quite a learning curve for me, but i like learning, anyhow, i have a bed in mind for the missus and I at the moment we have the standard style pine bed and im going to remove the head and foot and keep the two main bearers and slats to serve as a base for the drawing i made below, as i am going to put draws and lights itll be made from three hollow boxes and a solid piece for the foot, what has been bothering me is that i want the look of the the whole thing being solid would th just need to miter the edged and glue it, or does anyone know a better way?
