Hi Woodmax and welcome. This is a great place to be for woodworking. But don't forget to visit the joke section while you are here, couple of guys in there tell some terrific jokes.
Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

Hi all,
Thanks for your warm welcome.
I've been to Australia for 7 years and I finished my degree in Melbourne back in 2001. Australia is absolutely a lovely place to live. I hope I will visit Australia again in the future.
As I remember, there is alot of woodworking hobbyist in Australia and you can buy any material easily in the market to build whatever you want. In Hong Kong, we have all kinds of professional in different fields such as CAD, carpentery, upholstery, finishing and carving etc because most of the major furniture manufacturers are owned and operated by HK people. But, we virtually don't have any hobbyist here. Here is no woodworking related society, forum and activities etc. Furnately I found this forum to enable me to get contact with all the pros and hobbyists even I'm out of the office.

Hi Woodmax and welcome
I too am a newbie to this forum and have found the information to be fantastic and very helpful. Just by searching through the various forum responses I have found links to some tremendous woodworking sites. The best things about the other members is that when you have a question people WILL help out and provide you with all sorts of ideas and some web sites to also have a look at.
Again welcome
