The odd bits you get to do
A while back I came across some odd bits I made for a fancy dress ball. I thought about tossing them or giving them away but thought I would post them here first and perhaps see some of the other odd bits and pieces you may have made.
For those perhaps too young - it's Cap'n Hook - the bits had to look "real" enough but not so real as to scare the locals
Regards,
Bob

Cant show you, I made a fancy dress costume once "Horror themed"... went as a victim!
I brought a cheap tomahawk and chopped off about 25% of the blade then made up a chest plate and tack welded it to it.
Then I cut a corresponding slice in a Tshirt then dowsed it in red paint... yep looked way too real freaked a few people out, including the police!....................................................................

That flintlock is an absolute beauty. I'll bet you had a few askers.
Too good for fancy dress.dave
nothing is so easy to do as when you figure out the impossible.

hi
Give the props you made to a local theatre company. They'll give you a free ticket or two to their next performance.
I've tread the boards many a time in some great pirate gear.
Cheers.
