Pallet Wood Mini Projects
I went back into the shed on Monday for the first time for a while as I needed to knock up something quick to secure a 9kg LPG bottle in the back of the car to take for filling. I got sick of them being top heavy and rolling around in the back of the wagon full or empty!
It's just a quickie and not worthy of it's own thread but I thought I might start a thread here for anybody to add pics of simple pallet wood projects that might be useful ideas for others.Franklin

Looks like you're on a roll again (and that's not a pun about your gas bottle).

re milk crates.... not allowed to take from local distribution centre, but they will tell you what business would have a few lying around and you can them from there....go figure.

I like the gas bottle crate. I'll probably bang out one of those this weekend.
I've got these two. The lamp was a project with my 10yo son for a bedside lamp with one of those fancy globes using a std pine pallet with a Tung Oil finish.
I've used a standard batten holder for the globe and small architrave mount switch. The green shed have the round white metal skirts to hide the batten holder. They just screw on using the plastic shade holder collar. Fairly basic but it came up a treat.
The other pallet project was for swmbo. She likes to be warm.
Cheers
Bryan

The tomato crop came in ok last year, which was good for the Trug, but the variety was a bit of a strange bushy hybrid. This year I'm experimenting with an indeterminate type in the ground against a side wall that will need a decent support if all grows to plan.
This tomato ladder used to be a long narrow pallet.
