Default Partners do they go to wood shows?

There has been a couple of wood working shows recently and I just do not know if wood workers, be that professional or hobbyist take partners to a wood working show.

The Sydney shows that I have gone to I have taken all manner of friends and some liked it and some did not. The one coming up in June I am intending to go for two days. Friday will be with one friend that enjoys looking at the tools and on the Saturday I will be going with my partner. Simple really I asked her and she said yes so this is the first time that she will be going to a wood show.

So the question I put forward is would you take your partner to a wood show? Or could you take your partner to the wood show? Or should you take your partner to a wood show? Then the most obvious question after that would be why or why not?

So the question I put forward is would you take your partner to a wood show? YES Or could you take your partner to the wood show? YES Or should you take your partner to a wood show? WHY NOT Then the most obvious question after that would be why or why not? IF they would like to go then no reason not to take them. The only reason not to take them would be if they thought for one second they would be in charge of spending money.

Take your partner and show her all the things that you get enjoyment out of.

At least she can then make a decision whether to go next time ar let you go on your own.

Always great to get support from the better half especially when you need spend a bit more.

I took my mrs to the last wood show which resulted in me spending about half the time i would have spent there had i gone alone. This year I will be going alone.

Mrs. Wood is very enthusiastic, I was waiting to talk to one of the vendors at a stand and The Woodess wandered off. I caught up with her about twenty minutes later and she was laden down with all sorts of tools and goodies that she thought I'd need, including a LV BU smoother - something I would never have bought myself.

I'm definitely bringing her to the next show... well actually, she's bringing me.

Only if you intend buying something that's too big to carry by yourself.

I have taken my partner (and one of the babies!) each time we've gone. This year she was able to help pick out the jarrah for our "to be" bar top and then she talked me into buying a domino (on the basis of savings made in the kitchen and other things!) She'll definitely be coming again .

Sadly she has been turned off wood for 2 reasons
one her other love requires smooth hands for working with silk and superfine Merino.

I would take my partner, but she'd be so bored. So bored.

My Mum and I usually go. She's a little more patient, and we make a little day out of it as we don't "hang out" enough
