    Default Pay-it-forward Hall Table

When a bloke I'd never met felled and carted a Kauri pine to his place for me a few years ago I told him I'd make him something from it once it was dry as is our family custom. It's taken me a while to get started but I'm pleased as pi$$ with the results - first time something has made it from my first mental image to the finished product intact . . . and the judge at our local show liked it too The design is a bit of a follow on from my egg collection cabinet style but this needed to be open and airy to suit the light coloured Kauri - let me know what you think of it?!
All the way through making this I kept thinking how much quicker and easier projects like this will be when my Hammer Combo gets here - but that's still months away

    Thumbs up

Vern, You are a master, I'm always amazed at your turning, now a beautiful Kauri piece of furniture. No stopping now, maybe a scale model to complete the three. regards John, ( Leave for QLD next week , only as far as Sunshine Coast.)

Very classic styling , beautifully executed, and a credit to your workmanship.

Your sentence is a question, not an exclamation.

Your first mistake was thinking you are the funny guy. I am the funny guy. Your second mistake is lack of understanding of punctuation. When you ask a question that is meant to convey surprise (as mine was) or emotion, you may end it with an exclamation mark rather than a question mark. I could have also used an interrobang, but who knows where that is on the keyboard

An interrobang can be represented as a question mark and exclamation side by side, like this: ?! or !?. As indicated by yourself, this indicates your excitement. As such, you were incorrect by typing an acclamation mark at the end of the sentence. This will confuse the readers.

An interrobang is represented like this:
