G'day all,
I was just looking through an old Fine Woodworking Magazine issue 213 (August 2010) and it has a "fine" article on photography with some ideas for DIY lights using workshop lights and baking paper for example.
Here's the preview:

Yep, baking paper being very similar in translucency to tracing paper will do a very nice job of semi-diffusing the light source. So will freezer wrap, but it won't like hot lights of course. Just have to make sure they don't impart a slight colour cast.

Far out ..... I read this thread and just failed photography. Miserably.
Unfortunately I commit all the sins, except that I never had, never will have the klunker in Auto. It is always in manual.
Thank you genuinely for a great tutorial, especially FenceFurniture. There are many things I picked up here, far too many to remember at once. I have 'subscribed' and will refer back here constantly.
Its gunna be a real pain to take the klunker off 'Machine-Gun-Fire' ... It sounds like one too ... Haahaa
Thanx all here ... Greg
