Raffle prizes
Barwon Valley Woodwrights (Geelong) are holding 21st annual woodshow late October this year. As most of the members are turners, I designed these items as simple as possible for them to help with the construction of them, lessons were given in the use of a biscuit cutter, sanding , glueing up and draw construction. The Blackwood timber was donated by a club member who is moving and needed to clean out his shed.
They were sprayed with Mirotone 60% gloss.
Attached writing desk/table , a pair of bedside tables
1st and 2nd prizes in our raffle. regards John.

That's sure some nice lookin furniture "nine fingers";
Be difficult to get it up here if I won after buying a ticket.
Hope the fund raising goes well, should do with beautiful prizes like them.
