No pics, but it does not seem to take a high finish. That's never been a problem for me but.

Just on filling nail holes and gum veins - are you guys doing the underside too? For the sake of it feeling flat/smooth?

If it's somewhere likely to be touched or seen, like near the edge of a table, then yes, otherwise I don't bother

And what about the edges and end grain? Anyone bother do fill them?
