Default wanted - sawmill to split railway sleepers

Hi there - I have had a guy sawing railway sleepers for me (mainly ironbark) lengthways into 2 clean 45mm slabs -3 cuts - but he is retiring. I make furniture from them. Does anybody know a sawmill in Melbourne area who will do these for me? I've called a bunch with no luck. They were done on horizontal bandsaw, but would be better on large ripsaw I think. I clean, high pressure water and file out bolt holes. I'm in Melbourne. help! thanks Brett

I suspect they don't want to touch them due to the possibility of metal in them, not unless you can guarantee. Saying that, try Millrove Sawmill (Bowerbird Timbers), they might be able to help you
