    Default Saying Hello.

    Hi from the northern half of the globe.

    I've been a lurker for a bit too long and have taken the plunge and joined the forum. I'm not a prolific woodworker and my biggest weakness is getting a project finished. A not so uncommon affliction. My excuse being that I'm not married and don't need to escape to the shop. (That's going to get me in trouble with some I think)
    What I've always liked about this forum is the encouragement given to beginners and the sense of humour displayed by the membership.

    Hope to fit in.

    P.S. The instructions for posting pictures said only one picture can be attached to a post but Manage Attachments shows 5 boxes (which would match many of the posts I've read before). Are the instructions out of date or am I misunderstanding them?

    Greetings, inspector. Welcome aboard.

    I must've missed the part about only one picture. Five pictures is fine, and attached thumbnails load faster for the juice can and string connections. Just keep the size within limits.

    As for knowing Avril....... I can only say that that's a part of my private life I don't feel comfortable discussing at this time.

    To the Aussies... when yarnin with a Canuk from the far frozen wastes please remember they understand in small bites of information a few words interrupted by "eh" without a question mark as its not a question its a nationality disability that we must use so they feel comfortable... please use the correct terminoligy when conversing with Canuks its only right and shows them that we care enough to try to speak their lingo

    The really small part is I was exchanging email from another Argentinian from an Ornamental Turning Forum just a couple days ago. Makes me wonder if the two of you are living close enough to visit each other someday.
