If you can get 3 phase then do it early. it will affect your decision and how you work, not sure if you are willing to invest but if its only for hobby then probably not worth it.
When I did my 3 phase upgrade it costed close to $10,000 NZD. its not just the main cable and install fuses at your boundary. A trench at least 600mm deep to bury the line form the street fuse to the house, new switchboard, fuse, line to individual sockets/plugs... I had about 3-4 plugs only (significantly not enough). all industrial grade. its cry once laugh forever.SCM L'Invincibile si X, SCM L'Invincibile S7, SCM TI 145EP, SCM Sandya Win 630, Masterwood OMB1V, Meber 600, Delta RJ42, Nederman S750, Chicago Pneumatics CPRS10500, Ceccato CDX12
