    Default The Scrap Bin

I have a few scrap bins around the workshop for off-cuts so decided to have a little bit of re-organisation.

In going through what was under the bench and the off-cuts I realised I had more than enough timber to make a few boxes.

My bench chisels (they were under a heap of off-cuts) usually live under the bench in what is left of a cardboard box.

So this is what happened and now I've got a bigger mess to clean up. Still got a few boxes to finish for the mortise/firmer and other beveled edge and assorted chisels.

Thanks. Bits of pine, jarrah, tassie oak/vic ash, red cedar and oregon are all there to be used.

    Don't want to waste them.

Thanks Ray. That one is basically pine and vic ash with a dark wax.
