Sealing new timber
I have a project that involves the cutting of 350 x 700 mm lengths of timber, taking off the bark and drying the lengths. Getting the timber is no problem as I have a plantation but I can't find the sealant that I need to use on the ends to stop them spliting.
Does anyone have a brand name and a supplier in Melbourne?

Rob - try the search function (if you haven't already) - a really useful tool.
Search on 'log end sealer' and or 'timber sealer' - loads of info - should tell you all you need to know.Cheers,
Andy
