Default Best things to sell at markets.

    Hi all,

I have started doing markets selling olive oil for the grove i work for and i want to make some things out of olive wood to sell, just wondering what are some quick and easy thing to make that sell well.

I cant make pens as my lath doesn't have a morse taper and i haven't worked out another way of making them.

If there is anyone out there who makes things for markets or you have seen people selling things id love to hear from you

    Thanks
    Daniel.

If you have a ready supply of Olive wood then cutting boards, cheese boards, cheese knives, spoons of all types will be good sellers if you get the prices right.

I posted my stuff in this thread Hi everyone

Rolling pins like this one (its made of Tuart) but made in Olive would look pretty specy.
I have two olive blanks cut out to make similar rolling pins but just have to get round to turning them

My first several pens were made on one of those cheap & nasty $80 "lathes", with no Morse taper (also no rigidity, no power, no weight etc.)
I turned a bit of wood for a mandrel, and snuck back up to a friction fit in the tubes by wrapping it with masking tape.
