    Default shaping plywood

hello all, i'm in the process of making a bed head. i have already made a box bed with 4 deep draws but now i need to make a curved head board..
i'm planing on using 3 layers of 4mm ply but am un sure as to get it to hold is shape.. is the best method to dampen the ply then clamp it in a curve.. or score the sheets so they flex better.. the curve isn't very tight....
    thanks for suggestions..

    Default laminating plywood

I have had success of using thin ply and glueing each sheet to the previous sheet.
I simply clamped the first one to my formwork (rounded chipboard) then glued the next one to it.

You will find that the more sheets you glue together, the less the whole assembly will attempt to straighten when you remove your formwork later.

What lpg falcon said. Use a glue that's fairly rigid, like epoxy. Don't use PVA or yellow glue as it will creep.
You may find it easier if you use flexi ply, but if the curve isn't too tight it shouldn't be necessary.

I made a bed with curved head and foot using Black Wattle. Hope this helps.
