    Default Sink cut out measurements

Hi all just a quick one and more curiosity than anything. I’m going to be finishing a kitchen bench top soon and I’ve been given the cut out measurements as 1144 x 494 mm CR=20.

My only assumption is that CR is corner radius?

    Knowledge gap!
    Cheers folks

I would assume the same but would be very reluctant to cut it without the sink or it’s template
All the kitchen companies and bench top suppliers that I have used refuse to cut in a sink without physically having it there.
I would only do it if someone else was taking the responsibility

No template or sink = not worth the risk

DON'T do it, insist on the sink, I never trust the template because I got caught out once when a sink manufacturer changed the sink but not the template grrrrrrrrr
The person who never made a mistake never made anything

If you know the make and model of the sink it will likely have a template on its website.

Yes, the web site will have the template for the current model. HOWEVER the warehouse could ship the current model or the model from three versions ago. No cut without the sink.

In real life, as in my kitchen remodel, both the sink and template were useless. The counter maker had the sink and installed into the counter top. (Corian) Except, except, except the counter top people took the measurement from the edge of the counter to the sink to be to the center of the sink. The measurement was actually to the edge of the sink. The sink was installed about 500 mm from the designed position. The cabinet shop owner was screaming over the phone at the counter top people while I'm laughing out loud.
