Default Best site on the Internet

I'm not given to words of praise but here I make an exception to my rule.

Every member here who responds to my questions answers clearly, eloquently and briefly. Unlike many other forums no member is given over to abuse, arrogance or rude words.

Do woodworkers comprise decent, intelligent, common sense people?

    I think so.

I take pleasure in belonging to this site.

    Regards to all,

Clearly? Eloquently? Briefly? Obviously I haven't previously replied to any of your posts.

I'd say that has a lot to do with it, but it's also an indicator of how well our moderators are doing their jobs. It's a lot of hard work that no-one gets to see, except on bad days when things go wrong.

Three cheers for the mods!! ('Cept when they moderate me )

EDITORS NOTE: We wouldn't do that to You!! (watson)

I'm agree, this is for sure the best excisting forum. Once I was a moderator on an American forum, I can tell you it was a tough job, so my compliments are for the mods on this forum.

I agree. I've never come across a forum with such good manners.

I do think we have something special here and I am on quite a few forums, not woodwork related, and sometimes they can get quite nasty and abusive.

It is a pleasure to come here.

Must be why I hang around. A real sense of community too, which can be ruined when someone goes "troll".

I've got to say that this has made me laugh. This place isn't too dissimilar to other forums. Some people are morons and some are not ......

The reason you might not read the abuse, arrogance or rude words is because of the moderation and your short time on the forum.

As some would so politely say, "do a search" and see how well your statement stacks up.

All in all though its not a bad place to inhabit.

Well said. I've always been impressed how positive, supportive and patient everybody is, so I'm pleased you made the point.
