i could use some advice if i can get it.i am making a box out of mdf which i am going to cover in marquetry.what is the best glue for mdf & also should i make a wash with pva & size the mdf before i glue up.any help will be greatly appreciated.
Use the PVA neat, do not dilute it. MDF is as thirsty as a sailor on leave & swells alarmingly when exposed to water - I've had some swell in rings from a frosty glass thru 2 coats of paint - and it doesn't shrink back when it dries out either.
