    Default Skilsaw Makita blade.

Hi all,I hope this is the correct spot for this,or maybe it should be in the safety column. But anyway,I have a 7.25 inch Makita blade in my Skilsaw & the arbor hole is so worn, it's useless. The teeth are perfect as is the rest of the blade & it's my fault for being careless & not torqueing the nut properly. So rather than throwing it out,is there a chance I could get it repaired in some way which would be cost effective & safe,as I hate waste? Btw, it is a 5/8" hole, or it used to be. Thanks,Jim. jj77746

you could hve the blade repunched to a larger size and then bush it down, don't know wether it would be cost effective

These are $9.98 at Bunnings, so not worth doing anything other than replacing.
