I wrote him and said you realise you're making a fireplace out of WOOD?? He wrote back. It's made out of hardwood. It's really durable. 🤔😮

I thought it was obvious. It doesn't have a chimney so won't be able to draw the smoke away.

Poor target market selection - not many log cabin new builds in QLD.

If you look at the ad it says. ‘Hot ticket item’.

I think it's brilliant. First you light the fire, when that burns out the fire place keeps burning, when that burns out the house is nicely alight and you stay warm and toasty all night, if not longer. All this with one match. Energy saving at it's best.
How come QLD has all the geni asses?

    Phone call to insurer:
(Insurer): Run that past me again. You fitted a wooden fireplace, had some friends come over, three bourbons in, you started a fire to keep warm, and that's why your house burned down.
(me): ...um, well it might have been four bourbons ...
    (audible ripping sound)
    (me): what was that ...
(Insurer): ...oh we just tore up your contract (hangs up)

Its obvious - you run a fireplace flames video on a tablet and prop it up inside the fire place.
