Just started to make a router table, hopefully this will save me changing the top on my Triton work centre thing all the time

Sounds like a smart idea. I made a stand alone bench to mount my Triton router top to when I had a Triton, for the same reason.

If that is a single sheet of ply you might find that it is hard to keep it flat and level, maybe something like a torsion box (try youtube) under the ply or quicker and easier would be to glue 2 sheets of MDF to the base. If you go with the MDF use plenty of glue and clamp it as flat as you can. My first router table used 3 sheets of MDF glued together but I didn't use enough glue to cover the surface of the MDF sheets and only clamped the ends and around the router insert, as a result it bowed and try as I might I could never get it flat and level. In the end I gave up and went for a cast iron top.
