Stays
Hi all,
Here is a very bad sketchup impression of badge/coffee table thing I am building for my wife.
The bit that is sticking up will normally lay flat into the recess you see. When visitors come over she will stand up the badge display for all to see.
Can someone please advise me of the exact part to order to have the badge display thing stand up. I've been to plenty of web sites, but for the life of me cannot work out what it is I need to order.
I don't mind if it is one thing in the middle of the back of it, or one thing at each side of it, or even some special sort of hinge system.
Thanks in advance
Wongdai

You could always mount a timber stay on a hinge at a 45° angle, a la the small "counter-top" picture frames.

Perfect Ian!
Just the thing. I will be able to rebate the hinge into the recess.
Now to see if I can get one of these in Australia anywhere.
