How to stop Mould?
Here is a sheet of MDF as a door in a garage, it has been oiled with BLO, but yet the mould still grows. I am just about to throw it and other cabinet mdf coverings away due to the nastiness, but how can I protect surfaces from this nasty little critter.
To give you some insight, m garage, is in effect a carport with a very airy garage door, ceiling high fence on one side, brick wall on the other and open at the rear. The air flow is so good that I never though this would happen.
Short of painting it all with paint containing microban, how can I stop this from happening, if anything? and short of never using MDF again, which will be my preferred option as it does this and absorbs all moisture in the air.

Its Sydney weather mate, move interstate, come down to SA we dont get the rain so we dont get humidity or mold.
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

Like Tonto said it's the humid weather and mdf just sucks in the moisture. As you can not control the climate due to the way your work space is constructed then regular mdf is not suitable in there. You can get moisture resistant MDF and particleboard.
