Storing CA Glue
Can anybody recommend a storage method for CA glue to aid in longevity? There are varying opinions out there! Thanks

The refrigerator. I've been keeping mine in my shed fridge for years and never had a problem. If the fridge isn't an option for you I found it lasted much longer if kept in a large jar with some moisture absorbing crystals (large coffee jar with lid).

Back when it was called 'Eastman 910' and cost almost $20 for a small bottle, I stored it in the freezer door of the fridge. I kept the spout pointed up to allow any moist air to escape into the dry air of the freezer. It would freeze solid and take about 30 minutes to thaw. After it thawed I would apply it, put the cap back on and back into freezer storage. That small ¼ ounce bottle lasted about 10 years. It was used up before it hardened.

Only time I cut myself with a chisel was putting on one of those stupid plastic safety caps that chisels come with to stop you cutting yourself. Anyhow cold slows down bleeding.

Always in the fridge when I had one in the shop.
CA was first used in Nam for glueing people back together.

Fridge.
Normally I use regular CA up within 12 months but I've had one CA product in there for about 6 years and it still works. It's a black Loctite CA with rubber in it, used where you need a bit of flex as well as strength.
I bought the Black CA to fix the cracks in the (thin) hard plastic drip tray on my coffee machine caused by dropping the portafilter handle onto the tray. It worked but I kept dropping the portafilter handle and generating more cracks - eventually there were so many cracks I filled the ~20mm deep tray up with about 3mm deep of epoxy - all good now.
Now I keep the black CA to fix up my walking shoes.
