I'm tempted, but at $350+ for another jig for my T7 is going at bit to far.

although this that amount of jigs i have for it, whats another 3 hundy.

I noticed Machinery house have a CBN drill sharpener for about $70 if i recall right, could be worth a look.

Purchased some 5% cobalt drills from China (5Pcs HSS-CO High Speed Steel M35 Cobalt 4/5/6/8/10mm Drill Bit Tool Set AU $7.99)https://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/38184...0/s-l140/p.jpg
    They are cheap and fantastic.
I did a torture test with the 10mm - Drilled some hardened steel - tip went blue and damaged - re-sharpened it about 3mm back.
It re-sharpened to razor sharp and tough again. I will be using these in future if I can get them.
I saw a 1/16 to 1/2" cobalt set on the counter in a company I visited recently for $70 Looked similar quality.
    Also
I am buying these (Carbide Tip Metal Cutter Stainless Steel Drill Bit Hole Saw Holesaw 15-55mm)
    https://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/40132...0/s-l140/p.jpg
Carbide tipped holesaw/broaches They are also tough and great value.
Used the 30mm ($7) one for boring holes in 6mm steel plate and a 20mm ($5) one for boring cleanly through a brick.

    Moorebrm,

Is there any chance you could provide a link to the Drill Bit Tool Set and the Carbide Tip Metal Cutter Stainless Steel Drill Bit Hole Saw Holesaw?

    Thanks.

I purchased the Sutton metric and imperial sets (around$70 ea) from Bunnings 18 months ago.
Not happy with them. Small drills blunted quickly, many drills slightly bent, sharpened offset and drill inaccurate hole sizes.
P&N were the bees knees once but I don't know where to get quality precision drills from now.

I would have though you would have needed a very thin wheel to get that centre, almost right angle shape.
    Cheers
Not exactly the geometry of the Viper bit but very close. I think with experimentation that it could be replicated on the DBS22 jig, but why bother when the Tormek DBS22 instructions / method gives a similar result that is equally as good as the Viper geometry imo.

Easiest way to explain - check out the Tormek clip - https://www.tormek.com/uk/en/grindin...ng-attachment/
