Question What to do with this timber awning?

The awning is dislodged on the left side as seen from pictures.

Shall we lift up the awning and try to secure the loose frame with screws or nails?

I need a second opinion how to repair it. Thanks for advices in advance.

You'd probably be screwing into sawdust by the look of it. It looks as though the bracket needs replacing. I would get an acrow prop under it and make a new one. Probably do both while you're at it.

    Default I'd start by

Removing 3/4s of the weight by removing the tiles...you'll probably find that close to every one is wired down, so have sidecutters to hand.
Once you have the weight off you can take your time to assess what's needed, and as previous poster said two new brackets would be the best option...if that's no good for you you could line it all back up, drill a hole and assess how much solid timber is left. The big challenge the tiled roof, whatever you do has to be sufficient to bear the weight...

Can you give me a better idea where/how the two brackets should be fitted? I am getting someone to work on it for me but I like to check if his work really makes sense.
