Timber ID Please - Nested Tables
Hi folks,
Started sanding a bunch old coffee tables and have come across a lovely dark timber veneer which I cannot identify. Does anyone have a clue?

QLD walnut with a bit of figure maybe? May not be the case now but QLD walnut has a distinct 'poo' smell to me before finish while milling, planing and sanding. Takes a great polish, though.

Yes,definitely Queensland walnut, I have about 2000 square feet in veneer but never used any yet. Mine was purchased from a guy that kept them in boxes but allowed rats to nest in it. I blamed the rats for the smell !
