Default It works, this time with photos

Put a post in a couple of weeks ago but no photos, so here they are.

Made up a set o cupboards & bench for dearly beloved, basically made up out of left overs and the bench top from a 2nd hand place, complete with warps & bows.

The finish was the thing I was eager to try. Bench top was sanded back to 800, then applied about 10 coats of water based satin clear - water based allowed me to get on 3 coats in a day.

Sanded back with 120 until all shiny spots had disappeared then 240, 400, 800, 1500. Then with a felt pad on the random orbital sander used Kitten [automotive] No 2 cut & polish. Finished off with a lambswool buff

I reckon it came up a treat.

Ohhhh, shiny. You do know you'll be expected to polish it back to high gloss when it gets scratched or dull......(please ignore note of envy in my post....)
