    Default Tsunami Hope Chest Auction

A while ago , I showed you the Tsunami Hope Chest and those of you who subscribe to Lee Valley Tools will have seen it on their June catalog cover.

It's now gone up for auction and will end on the 26th June , which is the six month anniversary of the tsunami .

There will be some press coverage of the auction and the WWA project over the coming week or so . All help in the promotion of this project will help not only the victims of this disaster , but also promote woodworking in general. The auction is on Ebay

I'd love to have the spare funds available Dave. That is truly a masterpiece. Best of luck with the auction.

Very impressed, certainly picked up a bit of inspiration from seeing it.

    Default Wow!!

    Howdy Dave!

I first saw this on the LV catalog cover and was awestruck at the beautiful design and excellent execution. The work of a master!!

At the time, I was so blown away, I didn't realize that it was a tsunami relief auction piece. You are both a master and a very kind and generous man.

I hope the auction brings beau coup bucks. If I were a rich man, I'd see to it!

    Thank you and best regards
