I ordered most of the small bits from that site and had no problems. the controller was 240v. The shipping wasn't too bad.

I think your question might be about the vacuum pump itself, which would be quite weighty. and i can't help you there. I just asked my grandfather and he had one under the house (no kidding).

    Regards,

    James

I only bought the vacuum controller, the filter (I think) and the Mac valve. Using threaded components adds a lot of cost to the kit, so I didn't use any. Barb "T's" and fittings are cheap at autobarn or cheaper at an industrial sales shop. Just use a pipe clamp over the fitting and if it still leaks, use ample silicone.

I used fuel line hose, which seems to hold its' shape well under vacuum. The car tyre type fittings are a stock item at repco, just take a photo of the part in with you, I got mine at the town markets for $8 from a bloke who sells cheap tools and other rubbish.

I'd see how you go locally and order the rest from JoeWoodworker

here is a pick of my setu

These fellas will have everything you need apart from the clamping board.
    Very friendly too.

    Cheers
