    Default Vanity top advice

Have done a TAS oak top glued and ready to go on a vanity top .
Problem is one board at one end the ova has failed..this was about 200ml of board and I have relied as best as I can.
My fear now is that it will fail putting it on or afterwards.
My question is can I put anything in the end grain joints to secure the joins.?
Cannot brace it underneath and cannot afford it to be wider.
    Hope this makes sense.

I'd be running it back over the saw to recut the joints and reglue it.

I had neighbors that tried to something similar. My advice was to go to the home center and buy a vanity with the sink molded into the vanity top. They grumbled, they fussed, they sanded, they even tried fiberglass resin. Finally, a few years later, they hired a contractor to re-do the whole bathroom. They spent about $6000 with the contractor when the vanity with sink would have been less than $200.

    It's pretty much doomed.

Were the boards straight or were they slightly bent at glue up? and how long did you keep it clamped for?

Yeah...it's f'ed. You can't patch stuff like that, the only way to save it is to cut it up and rejoin it properly.
