Waldown grinder vs A & A
Hi
I picked up a grinding setup last week and it has 2 grindersan Abbott & Ashby 200mm and Waldown 200mm
I only need to keep one and am thinking of selling theother. I wasn’t familiar with the Waldown so did a bit of research and theyseem to be industrial quality machines.
I will be using this as buffing and grinding/linishing setupso just wondering what your thoughts are. Should I use the Waldown or theA&A. The linshing attachment is a linishall make and is a bit worn sounless I can get it tracking right, I might get a multitool setup. As bothWaldown and linishall are still operating it may be possible to get spares,
Thought please?

You may want to keep both grinders as Buffing wheels should be kept well away from grinding wheels as buffing wheels will pick up and retain grit from the grinding wheels and end up scratching the work..
The alternative is to remove the buffing wheels when they are not in use.
If you are going to keep one I would keep the one with the least vibration.

I have seen used Brobo Waldown HD 200mm grinders sell for $800, that might influence your decision. They are of the highest quality. The AA, if it's green its industrial and grey is the DIY range but they're not to the same standard as the Waldown.
