| | What Happened to New Yankee Workshop ? I turned on at the usual time and a gardening show was on. Looks like the viewing time has slipped back or the clocks in my house are wrong or could it have been the coloured water I consumed last night.

| | I think it is called EST - Eastern Silly Time. Happens about this time each year when the population base in mexico wind their clocks on so that they may still pay homage to that great sun god - Sol.
We tried it in Queensland once but the curtains faded prematurely, the cows went off the milk cycle, the chickens didn;t know when to hatch and the gentle folk out Mount Isa way couldn't find their way to work in the dark!

Forgot about daylight saving. I did a search on the Web this morning and it still showed up as 7:30am WST (usual time) but obviously I need to change something on my computer or Foxtel need to change their settings.
We keep having poles over here about daylight saving but as yet it is not in favour. I guess they will keep having the poles until it is agreed to and then there will be no further poles.
Thanks for the responses.

| | Pete,
Over here in the West - New Yankee Worshop can be viewed on Foxtel Lifestyle Channel. If you subscribe to Foxtel ye shall recieve Norm either from the Heavens via satelite or from Hell via underground cable. Most on this Forum would vote (another poll looming) that Norm would come from the Heavens but he does have a Develish way about him.
The show is on Saturday morning and soon to be repeated on Sunday - starts the 15th November. The only thing missing is an able bodied asssistant. Even Tim the Toolman had Al and "I can see her now but was never good on names or faces but she had a lovely pair of shoes" as assistants.

29.11.03 9.30am New Yankee Workshop Jigs, Part 2
30.11.03 2.30am New Yankee Workshop Jigs, Part 2
As you can see from the 16th the shows are repeated on Sundays. These are EST so our time in the west is 3 hours earlier - I think but don't quote me as I started this thread because I didn't get it right. I don't think your mate will appreciate you knocking on his door at 6:30 am so you may have to wait until the 16th.
It is well worth watching.
