what would you do
At the campsite I manage, there are always jobs to be done. 2 outdoor tables decided retirement for them was better than the abuse they got.
Fine so we replaced them with cable drums that were sanded down and sealed with Bench top seal.
The dear wife decided to do her bit and 'borrowed' 2 piece of marine ply that were stashed away and then work her laser engraving magic on them. all good.
I then glued them down to the tops of cable rums and covered with outdoor estapol or something ( cant remember what ) After a year it was showing signs of shabbiness so I thought haa reseal and cover with perspex.
Thus I did and ran a beading of black Sikaflex then pressed the perspex down.
Not happy with the rough beading strip.
What else could I do to the others? What other options could I have taken?I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

Maybe a 10mm wide x 2-3mm deep rebate with a trimmer all the way around so the sikaflex has a hard edge to stop at?

20mm thick cement sheeting will last and near enough indestructible (or at least make it difficult) for the yobbo's out there.

is the perspex even going to hold up with the UV? not all plastics are UV stabilised.
