I spent the past couple of months planing for this because I knew that a lot can go wrong. Luckily it worked out perfectly.
The bottom rails are glued to the cabinet while the top rails are screwed in. This is how to install the doors. First place both doors on the bottom rail, than place the top rail on the doors and push the top rail in to position. It is done this way so I do not need to leave a big gap between the doors and the top rail. And it is impossible for the doors to run off the track.
