    if i gave you $1 000 000 but on the condition you never picked up a peice of wood or tool again would you accept?

    I had to think about this pretty hard not because I cant live without woodwork but because I WONT do what someone else says I cant it mayyers not hat they have paid me a million dollars I simply wont sell my right to choice and doing so would cost me more than a million is worth.
    But given the choice I would take the million and do woodwork anyway.

    I decided last week not to chase a job with a Law degree but to give it all up to be a woodworking teacher.

    I am giving up a potential high paying position and also willing to put up with teenagers for the love of wood. Am I mad?

    Also your title is missing a zero I think.

    I gave up a hifalutin career in my 20's to become a pro woodie.
    Theres been some great times and some not so good.
    I have never regretted my decision, lifes worth enjoying.

    1 Mill isnt much now days (A House cost half that), add another zero or two and maybe you will get my interest.. (Could also have something to do with the industry im in)
    I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.
