The best present is the one that gets used (all the time).
Boss gave his staff a small esky with chocolates, biscuits and a bottle of wine. I am sure I will find a use for some of these.
Just made up a console cover for son's car. Now to varnish.

Being a Buddhist, I wished for nothing, and received it!
But yesterday, self-Santa brought me a lovely new Jet wide belt sander and 4" shed vacuum attachment (Carbatech actually delivered!), a router raiser bit and an incra metric t-rule! (BenchStandard)... Sandpaper rolls from TSPM.
Fabulous!

(a) A new 150mm tool rest for my Vicmarc VL300. It has a redesigned edge compared to the 300mm one that came with the lathe. (b) 2m of every grit up to 400g in Hermes sandpaper (c) A Maun revolving leather punch made in England and (d) a pack of Sachy Robertson woodturning screws.
Equals a very happy chappy! Thanks Santa!
