I picked these up as a set a few years ago but know nothing about them other than the obvious.
Cheers,

Well, let's at least agree on what's obvious: Gumi handle, bachi nomi (fishtail), hooped.
So, how long ago and where did you buy them?

Can anybody identify the maker of these chisels?
The characters say Ichibu (could be a different reading) but I can't find any info on Google regarding who or what company makes it.

If it's a person's name it could be read as Kazu Takeshi.

Hi Neil,
I did look up Okazaki Takeshi and visited the pages to check his stamp but the kanji in the name is too different and the characters there can't be read that way.
It would be nice if it were the case though.
