Help I'd like to resize person component named "Sang" from 5'9" to my height of 6'.
Want to resize person component named Sang from 5'9" to my height of 6'.
Anyone know how?
Tool | Scale won't work.
Measure Tape | rescale won't work.
Looks looks like I have to edit "Sang" which I can't do.
Or maybe create an entirely new person?
Any positive constructive assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Select the whole person, group it, then use the scale tool on the new (easy to grab) corners.

Edit! - OP was right. Sang is a bit tricky. You have to select the whole object, THEN explode it (right click, explode), then select the whole lot again and make it a group. Then it will let you scale. Sang is a tricky bugger!

Human in Single Car Garage Workshop.jpg
Yeah my garage floor / drive way slants down toward the front of the house at a 7° angle.
took me forever to come to terms with that!
i.e. as long as there is a flat surface and I square off that and NOT a bubble level, I'm good.
Water runoff is min 5° as my roofing guy mentioned last repair.
Pretty sure the shower guy mentioned the same but ended up at 3° tiling towards the drain.
Roofing guy says "water run off just needs a direction to go".
But always have issues with rain gutters sooner or later. Thanks,

Try using the middle scale handle at the top instead of a corner. It won't be perfect, the taller Sang will be more slender for his height but over a 3" change, it won't be that noticeable.
FWIW, Sang is a dynamic component. The version available from the 3D Warehouse can be resized with Scale but the version that was shipped with the old version in which he was the default character may have the size locked. If you are using SketchUp pro, you could edit the attributes of the component. That would allow you to maintain his "dynamic-ness" because you wouldn't have to explode him.
As an alternative, you could make your own flat barrysumpter and make him 6 feet tall or whatever height you wish him to be."Folks say that if you listen real close at the height of the full moon, when the wind is blowin' off Nantucket Sound from the nor' east and the dogs are howlin' for no earthly reason, you can hear the awful screams of the crew of the "Ellie May," a sturdy whaler Captained by John McTavish; for it was on just such a night when the rum was flowin' and, Davey Jones be damned, big John brought his men on deck for the first of several screaming contests."
