Default How do I get Sketchup to tell me the compound mitre saw angles for mitre and bevel?

Anyone know of a way to get Sketchup to tell me the compound mitre saw angles for mitre and bevel?

I've created my angles but want Sketchup to tell me what to set my compound mitre saw angles at.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

I only have free sketchup make. I believe there isn't a tool available to give angle dimensions. However, you can measure the angle using the protractor tool. Just measure each of the two angles needed.

Not sure if this answers my question but might be an interesting read:
Angles and setting on the miter saw - Woodworking Talk - Woodworkers Forum

And I really like this quote especially if it proves to be true:
"If the base plate read zero, then the cut at 22.5 degrees would make total sense. As someone else said. I picture my cuts what I am removing, not what is remaining."

Miter Angles and Miter Saws | THISisCarpentry
"...stop identifying angles by the gauge on your miter saw. That gauge is off by 90 degrees. Subtract 90 degrees from any angle measurement on your saw and you’ll have a true protractor angle."

Most such angle gauges are worthless anyway. Set your angle with a bevel and a real protractor, and set the blade against it. Same with table saw and bandsaw tilts.

    Hi glenn,
Thanks for the reply and suggestion,

I've had a tedious look thru.
    Nothing caught my eye.
Some of the offerings are a bit hard to understand and don't have a pic to demonstrate what they do.

I'll have another look thru once my mind clears.
    Thanks,

Not from Sketchup, but this spreadsheet will give you the angles you need.
