Bit of a gloat
After several years of lusting after one of these, the dream is finally real

2003 Honda S2000. Being a Honda, the powerband is in the stratosphere (peak of 176kw at 8300rpm, with a 9000 redline), but the sound of the twin 4" exhaust makes it well worth it (I do have silencers in cos I just can't handle it on full noise )

Sure one of those exhausts isn't for the onboard toilet?

Don't be afraid to rev it and smile at the same time. They copped a bit of flak for being difficult to drive but I think they were just misunderstood by a lot of people. They were really two vehicles in one, potter around town with no fuss or give it a boot full and wring its neck type of performance vehicle.

My other car is a 1989 CRX, the Japanese market one with the original VTEC engine (8000 redline), and after 7 years I'm well versed in how these cars like to be driven. With a full 50% more power I'll be taking it easy for a few months until I learn how to safely handle it; there are no electronics to help out if you overcook it and the CRX taught me the hard way not to overestimate my abilities (fortunately with no injuries and no major damage).
