My God, my a#$e would be slipping all over the place on that seat. Obviously designed for a man of a particular build.

Your wallet(s) will hold you onto the seat.

Actually they are remarkably comfortable. Crockers were always rare. He took indian stuff customised the hell out of it (overhead valves!) and basically built them to order. Very special.

I had indians when I was young. Sold them off when they became trendy. If you think side valves and 4.5:1 compression isn't fast I can tell you another story. I was on my guzzi 750 riding home from esk one saturday night with a friend on his 38 sport scout. I had to put my bike in 5th just to keep up. And it's not like we were racing. It was just the comfortable cruising speed on that bike. I won't say what it was but the speed limit on the warrego was 100 kmh then. 100 is a 4th gear speed on my guzzi.
